-Have you ever visited a concentration camp before?
I've been to Dachau twice, once in March '95, and one in July '96, but I
didn't actually go in the second time, I stayed in the bus.
-What are your feelings right now about going to Buchenwald? Why?
I'm actually looking forward to going. I don't really remember too much
about visiting Dachau that first time. I'm older now, and I know more
about everything happening at that time and I'm interested to see what type
of impact it has on me.
-What purpose(s) do you think a concentration camp visit serve(s)?
I think that it definitely gives people a close-up view of the way things
were. Sure, you can read about concentration camps, but seeing them is
different.
