BERLIN BAUHAUS

The Berlin district, Zehlendorf, is home to a large Bauhaus housing project. This apartment building is a good example of how Bauhaus architecture often melds into the modern cityscape. Although the small rectangular windows, and geometric simplicity of the front facade are typical for aparment buildings today, these concepts were well ahead of their time in the 1920's.
