Although it would be nice to say that I am entering this field of work to establish world peace or bring about unity to nation-states, I am a realist at heart. I know this is not going to happen, at least not in my lifetime anyway. So my objectives are much simpler; I plan on challenging myself, pursuing work that I love and have a great knack for doing, and of course receive a substantial paycheck for my long hours and dedication. If by chance, I do amend the global problems of the world, even the slightest bit, so much the better. It would just increase the benefits of a job like this, to bring good fortune to other people as well as myself. God knows I can use some good fortune, and I'm sure there are millions out there saying the same thing.
