A successful web site will try to include or reflect on the following:
Demonstrated knowledge of the history, context and reception of your site.
An understanding of secondary literature relevant to your site.
The incorporation of your on-site visit to Berlin. This may include tape-recorded interviews, video, photos, sketches, journals, or whatever else you find pertinent.
A coherent, innovative argument (or arguments) that incorporates and responds to your pre-trip research, secondary literature, your visit to the site, your classmates' suggestions and your own analysis.
Significant thought on the way in which you choose to represent your site. The "sign-chain" offers one way in which to conceive of Berlin, but you are by no means limited to this. Other concepts would be encouraged strongly.
