I also have this tremendous hole in my knowledge of history that starts somewhere around 1930 and ends somewhere around 1998. This class seemed to be a excellent starting point for the spackle job, so I weaseled my way in at the last minute. I am fascinated/horrified by the Third Reich, and present day Berlin being in such a state of disarray and perpetual change. Ever since I was just a child, I have had this arbitrary fixation on Berlin and furtively taped all the news coverage on channel four when the wall came down. I was only 9 or 10 at the time.... I still have the footage if anyone wants to see some clips.
