Call for participation:
Digital Objects In The Classroom: Virtual Material Culture Collections in the Liberal Arts
March 16 & 17, 2009
Vassar College is seeking teams of faculty collectors, librarians, instructional technologists, and media resources specialists to participate in a 1 1/2 day workshop, from 8:15 am on Monday, March 16 until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17.
This workshop will assist liberal arts institutions in the creation of digital access to 3D material culture collections, in a variety of disciplines, and will also discuss the pedagogical implications of such collections.
Deadline:
Applications for participation will be accepted until Friday, January 30, 2009.
Applications will be evaluated and those selected for participation will be notified no later than February 6, 2009.
