The Current Supervisory Staff
Peter Florio
Hobbies: Gaming, Model Building, Acting.

I am a Senior double majoring in Physics and Astronomy, with a Mathematics Correlate. In addition to working Campus Patrol, I also volunteer with Vassar's EMS and enjoy spending time at Vassar's Observatory. My favorite part of Campus Patrol is the diversity. No one night on the job is the same as any other night, since every night brings potential for new situations. In addition, each night brings the opportunity to interact with different people, making every shift a unique one.

Yefri Baez
Basketball, drinking coffee, weightlifting, dancing bachata, watching movies, at the movies... AMC over Regal any day.

I'm a junior on the pre med track, double majoring in Biology and Italian. Yes Italian, buongiorno and such. It's a great department, just saying. I was born in the Dominican Republic, that one country next to Haiti with the legen... wait for it... dary baseball players and the great coffee. I came to Campus Patrol first semester of my freshmen year, and have never looked back. Patrol is a great job with even better people. From the awkwardly invigorating chats with Unit 5, to the late nights barely escaping certain doom in the Joss basement, I would not trade all the laughs, memories, and improper radio protocol of freshmen for anything in the world. Except maybe for an Oscar for Leonardo DiCaprio. It's coming Leo, it's coming.

Mel Corrigan
Hobbies: Exploring/Traveling, Tree and Rock Climbing, Designing.

Heya! I'm a Japanese major who is fluent in German and briefly studied Spanish, French and Latin, not because I like studying (or talking), but because I have a keen interest in understanding people. I've studied psychology and anthropology for the same purpose. I joined Patrol for a number of reasons. I'm a night owl, and Patrol is a night job. I love being outdoors (especially when it rains), and patrol was originally an outdoor job. And I dig livin' on the wild side (adrenaline junkie alert). My favorite outdoor hangout spot in old patrol was in a tree in the middle of the quad. 'Cause there's absolutely nothing suspicious about that, at all. Also, I'm definitely never sarcastic, ever. Nope.
Hunter Furnish
Hobbies: Filmmaking, Star Wars, Minecraft, all things Apple.

I was placed in Patrol for work study but quickly came to love it for three reasons: the awesomely flexible hours, the great pay with the ability for promotion, and Patrol's responsibility to bring noticeable influence on campus. The third reason has only been strengthened over recent years and I think Patrol truly brings an impactful element of student resolution to the residential houses. Best of all, Patrol is a student organization! Even while working with ResLife, it remains students who supervise students, giving the job a young, fun atmosphere. Finally, getting to walk around with a radio late at night has its moments.

Gram Hill
Hobbies: Drawing, Synchronized Diving, Patrolling Dirty.
Hey, I'm Gram, one of the less charming supervisors. You are probably reading this because you are on Patrol, in which case congrats- it's one of the greatest jobs to have here at VC. If you are not on Patrol, I'm not sure why you're bothering. But join Patrol, find a purpose. Rest assured, Vassar is safe under our rule. Yes, rule.

Graham Weston
Hobbies: I enjoy music of all colors, casual gaming, and biking – both leisurely and long distance.

The best thing about being a part of campus patrol is how engaging the job is. One night might be relatively uneventful while the next has you dealing with animals that have broken into dorms, restricted basement areas that have been opened, or dealing with the chaos of a late night fire alarm. As a patroller I have had the opportunity to work at making Vassar College a better and safer place and doing so in a way that respects and supports our student body. The variety of what gets done on a day to day basis keeps me focused and enjoying working on patrol. Of course, the pay scale is pretty good as well. As the first and only campus job I have held, Patrol has both met my expectations as engaging to return to night after night and also assisted me in becoming a better and more focused person. It's been a win-win situation all around.
