| Description of Research | |||
| Dr. Prieto-Portar is co-developer of 3-D reinforced concrete forms for five-sided modular housing system, currently produced in the USA, China, Spain and Mexico. The system increases quality finishes, seismic and hurricane proof, while reducing costs. He is doing research on deep excavation performance; in-situ instrumentation, and FEM analysis. Dr. Prieto-Portar is completing a textbook with CD-ROM, "Foundation Engineering" with 1000 solved problems, and 655 figures and photographs. |
