Description
of Research |
Dr. Macari's research is in the area of Mechanics of Granular Materials: Development of elasto-plastic constitutive models for the prediction of the response of granular materials to applied loads. Integration of constitutive relations. A second research area is Liquefaction Assessment of Western Puerto Rico: An Earthquake Hazards Study. Mapping of potentially liquefiable regions using GIS technology combined with in-situ-testing and instrumentation and laboratory testing. |
