Description
of Research |
Devoted most of the past twenty years to traffic opreation and safety.Was very much involved in engineering practice. My research included such topics as incident management, evaluation of emergency signal preemption systems, pedestrian safety, traffic control in work zones, evaluating traffic simulatuion models, planning and design of park and ride facilities, concrete barrier anchorage, potential impact of minicars on U.S. roads, and transportation for physically challenged people. On-going research on pavement vibration in urban areas. |
