Description
of Research |
My research program is focused on developing sustainable solutions to pollution problems, including, but not limited to, use of natural resources for the treatment of water and wastewater. Current funded research projects are evaluation of constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment, water quality of roadway and bridge deck runoff, and the enhancement of environmental education and research in the Phillipines. Other research efforts are focused on the use of enzymes for disinfection of water and wastewater, solar photocatalytic technology for treatment of stormwater runoff and the development of a model for creating ecologically and economically sustainable regional water and wastewater systems to aid in rural development. |
