Leave it? Rebuild it as it stood after in 1930? Make it a completely new and modern area? How about a memorial? Disney? Regardless of what they were going to build there, was it going to be a place for everyone? Tourists? Political officials? Whose needs should the area cater to? When we set out to embark on the mission of constructing an argument about the space, we were very unsure how to go about formulating a thesis. After spending two weeks there we had a better idea.
