Now that you have explored and thought critically about various web sites, and you have read the secondary material on your site, begin brainstorming with your group about how you would like your web site to look. Consider the following: What are your goals? What information would you like to convey? What perspectives? How? What representational forms will you use? What role will graphics play? Texts? Film? Sound? What position does your site put the viewer in? What will you need to do once in Berlin in order to accomplish these goals and expand your project more? What is your vision of Berlin and your site? How do you want the viewer to "see" your vision?

As a group, submit a five page proposal in which you discuss the following:
1) Your layout plans for the site and the logic behind them.
2) Your (tentative) argument and the information/evidence you wish to use to support it.
3) The relation between your presentation of the web site and your argument. The intellectual position(s) your site encourages (or discourages) your viewer to occupy.
4) Your plans for the visit to Berlin regarding the site, and how this relates to your overall project.
